Early voting begins
NOVEMBER 5, 2024
General Election Day
Voting is not something you start thinking about on election day. The process of determining how to vote begins early. Having a voting plan will ensure no barriers to having your vote counted. Whether you’re voting by mail or in person, we put together some of the best ideas for preparing to vote. Once you have your plan, share it with your friends and family.
VOTE BY MAIL plan
Please DO NOT mail your ballot for the General Election after 10/30/24, as it likely won’t be received before Election Day. POSTMARKS DO NOT COUNT. Drop off your ballot at your polling place, drop boxes, or voting centers by 7 PM on Election Day. For complete times and locations, go to the Elections Department HERE.
If you have a problem with your ballot, contact the Elections Department immediately at 520-866-7550.
VOTE "IN PERSON" plan
Check your voter registration status HERE. If there is a problem, contact the Elections Department immediately at 520-866-7550.
Find where you will vote. You can go to the Elections Department HERE for the times and locations.
Bring proper identification. This fundamental step should be noticed. Check HERE for accepted forms of ID.
Be prepared to stand in line for a while. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Bring water and snacks. Bring a folding chair that can be carried on your back.
Wear neutral clothing, which is not meant to influence the votes of others. Avoid wearing clothing that supports a particular candidate or social/political movement.
Stay in Line. If you are in line before the polls close, you can vote, regardless of the time.
